What we fix, fit and clear
Residential plumbing only, for homes in Larkhaven and within about 30 minutes. Here's what each job involves when we come out.
Leak and fixture repairs
A small drip is cheap to fix and expensive to ignore. We track the leak to its source and repair or replace what's failing.
We'll show you what failed and why, so you know whether it's a one-off or a sign of something bigger.
What it includes
- Dripping and loose kitchen and bathroom taps
- Running or leaking toilets, fill valves and flappers
- Leaks under sinks, at traps and supply lines
- Seized or leaking shut-off valves
- Fitting new taps, toilets and sinks you've chosen
- Outdoor hose bibs, including frost-free ones
Tank and tankless water heaters
No hot water is one of the most common calls there is. We repair and replace both kinds, and help you decide which suits your house.
What it includes
- Diagnosing no hot water, not enough, or rusty water
- Repairs to tank and tankless units
- Replacing an old tank with a new tank or a tankless unit
- Connecting the new unit to your water lines safely
- Taking the old tank away
Drain clearing
When water won't go down, we clear the line and look at why it blocked, so you're not calling again next month.
If several drains in the house are slow at once, the problem is usually further down the line. Tell us that when you call.
What it includes
- Kitchen sinks, bathroom sinks, tubs and showers
- Toilets that block or drain slowly
- Basement floor drains and laundry drains
- Clearing the main line when several drains back up
- Advice on what not to pour down
Sump pumps
Your sump pump sits quietly for months, then has one job on the wettest night of the year. We make sure it can do it.
Pour a bucket of water into the pit. If the pump doesn't start, call us before the next storm, not during it.
What it includes
- Installing new sump pumps
- Replacing pumps that are noisy, cycling or dead
- Checking the float, check valve and discharge line
- Battery back-up pumps, if you want one
- A check-up before spring melt and heavy rain
Bathroom rough-ins for renovations
Building or moving a bathroom? We do the plumbing behind the walls and under the floor, so the rest of your renovation can go ahead.
Bring us in early: it's much easier to put a drain where you want it before the floor goes down.
What it includes
- Planning the supply and drain lines with you or your contractor
- New water lines to the tub, shower, toilet and vanity
- Drain and vent lines set to the right slope
- Pressure testing before the walls close up
- Coming back to set fixtures once tiling is done
Not sure which one it is?
Describe it to us on the phone or in the form. We'll work it out together.
